TENNESSEE YOUTH & DISCIPLESHIP TEAM

Bishop Caleb Crooms is a native of Cleveland, Tn.  Being 5th generation Church of God, he grew spiritually under the ministry of the North Cleveland Church of God and graduated from Lee University in 2004.  It is there that he met his wife and partner in ministry, Hanah.  They were married in 2004 and have 2 beautiful, talented children – Micah (daughter) and Asher (son).  Caleb entered full-time ministry at age 24, serving 5 years in Arizona as Associate Pastor & Lead Pastor of Life Church at South Mountain in Phoenix, AZ (2005-2010).  From there he went to Millbrook, AL to serve as Worship / Discipleship / Media Pastor for the next 2 years (2010-2012).  While in Alabama, he became an Ordained Bishop at age 30 and also received his Master’s Degree in Discipleship Ministries from Liberty University (2012).

In 2012, Caleb was appointed to State Youth & Discipleship Director ministry for the Church of God.  He served the North Central Region (Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota) from 2012 – 2014. In addition to his Director role, he also pastored the Prairie View Church of God in Beulah, ND.  Caleb’s next appointment was to the state of Texas, where he served from 2014 – 2018 as the State Youth & Discipleship Director.  From 2018-2024, Caleb began his 3rd State Youth & Discipleship appointment in Florida.  Caleb began serving in his 4th appointment as Youth & Discipleship Director in Alabama from, 2024-2026.  The Crooms family were appointed to the great state of Tennessee at the 80th Church of God General Assembly and are honored to be serving in this role!

Hanah, while being a vital part of Caleb’s ministry, has an Exhorters License in the Church of God and ministers effectively in her anointed singing, testimony and worship ministry.  Caleb & Hanah’s passion is to see this up-and-coming generation come to know Christ and dedicate their lives to His plan and purpose for them.

Hanah Jo Crooms, a native of Michigan, is the wife of Bishop Caleb Crooms. They have two children, Micah and Asher. Hanah & Caleb met while attending Lee University in Cleveland, TN. They married shortly after in 2004 and began their pastoral ministry together—serving in Arizona, Alabama, North Dakota. They have also served the Church of God as Youth & Discipleship Directors in the North Central Region (ND, SD, MT 2012-2014), Texas (2014-2018), Florida (2018-2024), Alabama (2024-2026), before being appointed to Tennessee as Youth & Discipleship Directors in July 2026.

Not only has Hanah partnered with Caleb in his ministry, she also has an incredible testimony of God’s grace and an anointed singing ministry of her own. Nearly losing her life in an automobile accident at the age of 15, Hanah knows God spared her life to share His grace and mercy. Her gift to the church is her powerful and anointed voice which leads people into the presence of God.

Worship is her passion and seeing a generation come to know Christ is her purpose.  Also, serving as Girls Ministries Coordinator for the Tennessee Church of God State Executive Office provides opportunity for Hanah to encourage a generation that God’s plan is always best.
